Core Expectations:

  • Project Setup in Deltek; entering Proposal/PSSA budgets, Linking, and E-filing project records
  • Includes the coordination of and/or the preparation of the paperwork necessary to obtain approval for PSSAs
  • Monthly Draft Preparation, Invoicing, and Mailing/Emailing Invoices to Clients
  • Timely response to Client questions as they arise
  • Coordination with Project Manager and Partner on monitoring project status
  • Monthly Accounts Payable processing of consultant invoices and reimbursable expenses as required for Billing
  • Timely response to Consultants AR requests as they arise
  • Accounts Receivable; contact client regarding unpaid invoices in coordination with Project Manager and Partner
  • Maintenance and archiving of project records
  • Must have knowledge and experience with Deltek

Duties are included but not limited to the items listed above. Tasks are the responsibility of the Senior Studio Accountant, whether performing the tasks or coordinating the tasks with support staff. It is the intention that the Senior Studio Accountant is very well-informed with the projects and budgets in their assigned Studio. Position includes direct contact with Partners and Project Managers regarding their projects with regards to accounting functions.

Some things we’d love to see:

  • Possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or 3-5 years of experience in a project accountant role
  • Multitasking ability, ability to gather, calculate and analyze figures and ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with other staff
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Word
