Aria Design, Inc. is a boutique full-service interior design firm based in Laguna Beach, CA specializing in contemporary high-end custom residential and small commercial projects.

We are looking for a design passionate, a hard worker very detail oriented with strong multi-tasking skills to join the team as Administrative/Design Assistant.  

The ideal candidate should be a team player willing to contribute in our dynamic, fast-paced office.  Please submit a cover letter, resume and work samples to be considered for the position.


Research products, vendors and order samples.
Request product pricing, elaborate quotes and collect funds from clients.
Produce purchase orders in QuickBooks and prepare all paperwork to be entered in the system by the Bookkeeper.
Coordinate with workrooms (upholstery, millwork, window treatments etc.) to implement all the custom design done by the firm and reach completion of custom orders.
Document and specification writing to ensure merchandise is ordered correctly. 
Track merchandise and coordinate with storage facilities.
Manage deliveries and installations. 
Coordinates photo-shoot of projects after completion. 
Submit entries to Interior Design award competitions and submit projects for editorial consideration. 
Manage marketing, social media and website.
Basic office administrative tasks and office errands. 
Organize the drawing file and other relevant project documents including originals and record sets. Keep 3D and digital library updated and organized.
Maintain an updated and organized material sample and catalogue library.

Bachelor's or Associates degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture.
Minimum of 1+ years experience in high-end residential design firm required.
Proficiency in Quick books, Word, Excel and Power Point required. 
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Adobe Photoshop is desired.
Familiar with Mac IOS Operating System.
Good knowledge of contemporary/modern furniture, lighting, accessories and materials.
Very strong attention to detail. 
Exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Office administration skills.
