The firm’s project types include boutique hospitality, recreational/commercial mixed-use, legacy community buildings, and exceptionally sophisticated residential, both nationally and abroad.

CCY’s Job Captain produces design and production documents and is expected to provide knowledgeable design input on a range of project elements. The candidate must interact effectively with the project team, demonstrate an understanding of the construction industry, and be able to generate visual and functional design. The Job Captain sets their own personal goals and requests tasks to broaden their experience. Limited client contact is anticipated. A NAAB accredited Professional Degree in Architecture, 3 or more years of experience working in the profession, and CADD/REVIT literacy are required.

A professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited College or University as well as 3-5 or more years of experience working in the profession is required. The Job Captain shall demonstrate the ability to produce portions of the work (design sketches and graphics, construction documents and details, etc.) with sufficient competence to assume direct responsibility for accuracy and quality. Additionally, they shall be able to generate or forward visual and functional design. The Job Captain shall demonstrate an understanding of the construction industry and is developing sound judgment of what constitutes exemplary architectural design and appropriate level of documentation. Strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills are required. CADD/REVIT literacy is required.

  • 3-5 years of applied professional work experience
  • An understanding on how to put a full set – documents together
  • Detailing experience
  • Fluent in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, and AutoCAD
  • Strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills required
  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program
