Alexander Jermyn Architecture is an award winning design firm with a highly collaborative and creative practice. We approach each project individually with an artistic and technical rigor guided by a commitment to craft and detailing in architecture. We work together in small teams and promote learning and exposure to the design, construction, and management for all of our projects. This is a studio where members learn how buildings are made. The firm was chosen as a Design Vanguard by Architectural Record in 2016.

We are seeking a highly qualified Intermediate designer with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, knowledge of all phases of design and construction, and a strong portfolio. The position is full time with benefits.

AJ-A is currently working on a variety of commercial and single family residential projects. 


- Accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.

-Minimum of 3-5 years of post-academic, professional architecture experience working on a diverse range of project types.

-Previous knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials and methods, building codes.

-Commercial and Residential project experience desired.

-Proficiency in BIM software preferred.

-Proficiency in detailing and construction drawing production.

-Applicants must excel in working independently and effectively with the ability to lead fast-paced projects through all phases of project delivery.

-Strong communication skills and proven project management skills are required.

- Successful collaboration with consultants.
