Senior Project Architect – Wisconsin Dells OR Madison office

We’re seeking a seasoned, self-motivated, passionate and highly organized individual to join our team as a Senior Project Architect. Senior Project Architect Position Summary

At ADCI, a Senior Project Architect works independently on various projects as assigned by a Senior Management. The position oversees the entire design process and manages project staff assigned or assists as a technical expert on a specialized design. Working on several concurrent projects is typical. This person also acts as a knowledge resource to other design staff.

Responsibility Highlights

Assesses the requirements of a project, breaks a project into tasks and works with a Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge to determine scope of work, budget and staffing.

Writes scope of work for architectural design based on preliminary review and meetings with the client.

  • Emphasis on client centered design and leadership.
  • Well versed in BIM design, specifically Revit and Navisworks platform.
  • Carries out overall architectural project design.
  • Focus on quality assurance to integrate and coordinate all disciplines into the project.
  • Prepares and meets the project design schedule and design construction budgets.
  • Assigns, manages, and reviews work of the project design team.
  • Actively manages scope with client, maintains contact with the client, attends meetings and keeps the team apprised of design development and decisions affecting schedule or budget.
  • Performs various project coordination duties: programming, site analysis, scheduling and establishing project objectives.
  • Experience working with code officials and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.


  • Registered Architect in Wisconsin. Licensure in other states also preferred.
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an NAAB-accredited School of Architecture.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years relevant work experience after obtaining professional license to include coordination of multiple projects.
  • NCARB certification preferred, but not required.
