Office Manager

Sillman Wright Architects are looking for a friendly, proactive and enthusiastic Office Manager for our Architectural Practice.

The successful candidate should have experience in similar position with Architecture, Engineering or Construction Firm.

This position is Full Time.

Candidates should have Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills and a strong background in Accounting. Fluent English is essential.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Accounting, Business)
  • Previous Office Manager experience in an Architecture / Engineering / Construction office
  • 5+ years of Experience as a Business / Office Manager

Software and Skills

  • Paychex Experience
  • Quick Books
  • Microsoft Excel – highly skilled
  • Microsoft Word
  • Sage Timeslips
  • Timekeeping Software
  • Project Management Software
  • Other Accounting Software experience is a plus
  • Proven ability pursuing aging accounts

Job Description

Accounting and Payroll

  • Accounts Receivable (Billing) and Collections
  • Payroll Management
  • Monitoring Office and Project Expenses
  • Manage Checking and Savings
  • Firm Insurance Renewal
  • Support Firm’s Accountant with State and Federal Tax Filings

Human Resources & Office Management

  • State and Federal Employee Forms & Filling (Workman’s Comp, W-2 forms, etc.)
  • Staff Benefits Management (Vacation, Sick Time, etc.)
  • Office Policy Management & Update
  • Assist Marketing as needed
  • Supplies Ordering & Tracking
