Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for promoting PAI's services within the K-12 and higher education markets.  The candidate must be a skilled communicator - capable of crafting clear and compelling narratives verbally and visually across a range of collateral in concert with PAI's vision  and business development objectives. 

Specific responsibilities:

  • Update text and graphic layout for the firm's Statement of Qualifications
  • Compose text and graphic layout for project proposals (RFPs) using InDesign software
  • Prepare written content about the firm and its projects for use in internal and external communications
  • Update and maintain the firm's website
  • Maintain the firm's marketing archives
  • Format project awards submissions as necessary


The Marketing Coordinator is a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative person.  He/She is an excellent communicator, problem solver and action-oriented team player, with a deep understanding of the design industry and the practice areas within the education sector.  Required skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a marketing position with a design or other professional services firm
  • Strong graphic design and visualization skills
  • Strong writing and communications skills
  • Fluency with InDesign, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software programs
  • Marketing experience within the education field preferred
  • Los Angeles area resident

Compensation Package: The annual salary will be set based upon the successful applicant's experience and demonstrated skill level.  The benefits package includes health care, a 401k plan, disability insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
