Do you want to design real projects and watch them come to life?
Do you like to design and translate ideas into working, artfully designed objects and environments?
Are you looking for an opportunity to challenge conventional use of material and space?
Do you have a passion for great design and keen attention to detail?

Look no further - at LMNOP, you'll work alongside a small and highly skilled multidisciplinary team that will showcase your unique, individual strengths.

At LMNOP, we do design, fabrication, and construction, all under one roof!

We offer our clients a complete “turn-key” operation, from design concept through construction and fabrication. This creates efficiencies with budgets, scheduling, and communication, as we provide one point of contact for all design, trades, and subcontractors.

Our firm focuses on branded environments and interactive spaces, like retail, restaurants, offices, private events and public spaces. Our services include everything from initial concept through execution. We provide design concept and development, branding, project management, digital and traditional fabrication, and construction.

This is what you will do…

  • Listen to our clients’ (often crazy) ideas and translate them to meet their needs and expectations
  • Design solutions that are practical, beautiful, and functional to the needs of the client
  • Create compelling mood boards in the research design phase
  • Produce schematic design drawings, concepts sketches, elegant illustrative renderings, prototypes, and complete technical drawings
  • Oversee writing and editing of web content and design page layouts
  • Design branded internal materials and marketing collateral
  • Clearly communicate all project needs, details, costs and specifications to the Project Manager
  • Promptly respond to all design requests, RFIs and forecast realistic labor for completion of design work
  • Be accountable for project budgets in design phase and oversight of multiple projects at a time
  • Manage Junior Designer(s) and/or Design Intern and oversee project handoffs to digital fabrication and project management
  • Be involved in business development and strategy for the entire firm

We are looking for someone who has…

  • 3-5 years of architecture design experience in a professional working environment
  • Graduate degree in Architecture preferred or similar field
  • The ability to draw quickly and efficiently
  • Experience managing creative teams while executing on time and on budget.
  • Familiarity and comfort with all phases of the architectural design process, including codes and permit process.
  • Experience in construction and knowledge of creation of shop drawings
  • Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign fluency
  • Knowledge of 2d CAD proficiency, Rhino or SketchUp fluency
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs fluency
  • Bonus points: Grasshopper, Squarespace, Revit, Scripting and coding
