15 person Architecture and design firm in TriBeCa is hiring for a full-time office manager and administrative assistant to the principle of the firm.

Responsible for:
- General office management including managing office calendar, ordering office and pantry supplies, answering phones, coordinate maintenance and servicing of equipment, records management, etc.
- Working closely with the firm's principal as their administrative assistant to manage personal and professional calendar, coordinate travel etc.
- Working directly with the bookkeeper to help track and manage all office expenses and client billing
- New employee on-boarding
- Interface with Payroll Co for employee payroll and HR (15 employees between NYC and LA offices)
- Interface with PR company
- Interface with IT support
A well-suited candidate will have +/- 5 years experience in a similar position/setting (preferably in a design firm though not a requirement), be a skillful communicator, punctual, organized, work well in a team and individually and have the ability to manage multiple projects with both long- and short-term deadlines. As the office manager often interfaces directly with clients, vendors, and the media, applicants should be cordial and professional.

Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word) as well as Quickbooks; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are helpful, but not required.
