Description

  • A strong commitment to design excellence.
  • Works in tandem with project teams while guiding the interior architectural design direction and client engagement.
  • Design and coordinate detailed design concepts, assist with design and technical coordination among disciplines, and respond to technical implications of design decisions.
  • Facilitate program development with project team and client.
  • Responsible for project design budget, cost control, and schedule.
  • Guides the preparation of design presentations, assuming lead in client and owner presentations.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments including integration of basic engineering systems in overall project design.
  • Direct, organize, and mentor and inspire junior staff with responsibility for oversight.
  • Passion for the seamless design relationship between all disciplines of the project.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Registered architect preferred
  • NCIDQ certification
  • Experience in all phases of the project: design, construction documentation and construction
  • Understanding of building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.
  • Understanding of project management process
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred
  • Strong design portfolio
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Registered architect preferred
  • NCIDQ certification
  • Experience in all phases of the project: design, construction documentation and construction
  • Understanding of building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.
  • Understanding of project management process
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferred
