We are looking for a Project Manager to lead a team to create the next celebrated guest experience in the Seattle Metro area. Partner with established International Brands or design the once in a lifetime unique experience in a boutique offering. Is it the unforgettable rooftop lounge or the stunning arrival and lobby experience? Our architectural and interiors teams design high-end luxury suites and cabin-style guest rooms alike.

Within hospitality we often collaborate with other award winning design firms, international and domestic; which offers exclusive challenges to perspective and process. We do not design trendy. AMA‘s hospitality work is grounded in thoughtfulness and location - each project is one of a kind. 

We are searching for a versatile, communicative, & enthusiastic Project Manager that have several or all of these traits:

  • Artistically Enthusiastic & Technically Savvy; Inquisitive about materials, appreciates a great detail & knows how to care for a fine parti.
  • Process Savant; Understands when decisions need to be made but does not rush the team.
  • Planner; Visually models work-loads to anticipate milestones for the team.
  • Organizer; Sorts out the work to create quality outcomes and stretches team members so they grow.
  • Inspiring & Enthusiastic about the profession.
  • Project controller; The buck stops with you. You have the responsibility and the authority.

The Ideal Candidate Is:

  • A natural leader, confident with clients, and not afraid to work hand-in-hand with them.
  • Someone who builds trust by doing what you say you’re going to do.
  • A great communicator, coordinating project teams, consultants, and clients.
  • A licensed professional.


We’d Like Someone with Project Experience in:

  • Close collaboration with hotel operators and owners.
  • Immersion in brand standards of various flags and properties.
  • Restaurant/Bar, Amenity, Ballroom, and Conference Facility design experience with partners in Interiors.
  • Hotel front and back-of-house programming.
  • Consultant coordination with other hotel amenity – fitness, pool, spa, food and beverage to name a few.
  • Act as a market leader in hotels, restaurant, and/or resorts design.

We’d Like Someone with Proficiency In:

  • Communicating staffing needs & project schedules using software.
  • Autodesk Revit modeling and documentation, so you can understand project team challenges.
  • Collaboration; through Pin Ups, Team Meetings, Charrettes & video links.
  • Running a meeting.
  • Telling a room full of people, they’re going to sleep great while you’re on the job.

Your Daily Work Would Consist of:

  • Laughter.
  • Rolling your sleeves up and sharing responsibility for design excellence on your projects.
  • Managing design and documentation by starting on the inside and working to the outside of the building.
  • Mentoring junior staff by asking great questions and giving them real responsibility.
  • Sharing your joy in building great ideas, investigating new materials and getting things done.
