We are presently looking for a Studio Coordinator to organize our studio resources, spearhead client communication, support estimating and coordinate with production.  Your job duties would include:

  • Communicating with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, and/or designers regarding work product, scheduling, project details, and RFI’s.
  • Planning studio project phases based on information available in estimates and project schedules, available studio resources, required deliverables and install dates.  
  • Maintaining a master schedule of all studio related project phases/tasks and prioritizing work products and deliverables within the studio.
  • Running daily studio coordination meeting, assigning work to studio staff and verifying progress on phases and goals.
  • Handling all internal requests for information needed from studio by other areas in Superfab, including fabrication, procurement and project intake/contracts.
  • Ensuring that all resources and information needed to move forward on a phase, design cycle or task are available to studio staff.  Includes vetting incoming drawings and maintaining current drawing set.
  • Coordinating studio deliverables with Production to ensure that overall project schedule is on track.  You will participate in production planning meetings for all projects.
  • -Planning and preparation for meetings.  You will attend client meetings, site visits and internal meetings to take notes and present information from the studio alongside the Director of Projects.
  • Coordinating with vendors on requests for pricing in the estimating and development phases of a project.
  • Reviewing studio drawings prior to distribution to make sure all information needed is included and drawing standards are maintained.
  • Help develop and maintain studio standards and protocols, as well as communication and organization tools, including file structure and maintenance, client communication templates, and internal drawing standard templates.

As you'll be working with many people, both inside and outside of Superfab, being a skilled and concise communicator (in writing and in person) is an absolute necessity. You're also expected to be smart, curious, personable, very detail oriented and organized. The ability to think ahead and foresee future needs is critical to this position.  The job will require you to be diplomatic and tactful while still being firm regarding timelines and deliverables. The desire and ability to learn quickly and constantly improve is a standard requirement among everyone at Superfab, and your position would be no different. Making great things is a team sport. Some overtime may be required. Other requirements are as follows:


Associate Degree or equiv.

+ bonus for BA/BS (business, project management or related area preferred)


3-5 years experience required in admin support/project management in an AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) environment

Computer literate, proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), CAD software (Autocad, Rhino, etc.), and Gantt-chart software (we currently use Team Gantt)

+ bonus for experience with managing multiple workflows and individual talents


$18-25/hr, depending on experience. Full-time (40 hrs/week) with possibility of overtime.
