Job Summary

Industry City is seeking an Architect join its in-house Design team! The Architect's primary focus will be to design projects internally, as well as oversee outside architects and design consultants.  The Industry City Design Team is responsible for establishing and executing the aesthetic vision of Industry City for all of the architecture, landscape architecture, signage, wayfinding, lighting, streetscape improvement, environmental graphic, and interior design projects throughout the campus. 


  • Assist in programming / planning / designing specific projects (in part or in total) via the preparation of renderings, plans, elevations, sections, and details for internal and external review and presentation.
  • Track and streamline the architectural design process from conceptual design through overall execution of projects.
  • Participate in and / or lead, as required, meetings with internal colleagues, 3rd party architects, consultants, and specialty sub-contractors to ensure quality, character, and aesthetics of final / executed construction efforts.


  • Professional degree in Architecture (MArch or BArch).
  • Architecture Registration track preferred
  • Skilled in use of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and 3D modeling software.


  • Strong designer with ability to quickly communicate concepts at a variety of scales.  
  • Experienced project manager with ability to coordinate outside consultants and contractors throughout the design and construction process.
  • Strong representation skills and ability to quickly produce renderings and presentations.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
