Acheson Doyle Partners Architects (ADP) is a New York City-based architecture firm with a diverse portfolio of cultural, institutional, commercial, and residential projects.

ADP is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator with excellent written and oral communication skills, experience with business development ventures, and strong graphic design skills. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, able to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously, demonstrate strong organizational abilities, and have demonstrable experience creating and developing architectural proposals and qualifications packages.

Business Development and Marketing

  • Coordinate the RFP/RFQ process; create and edit proposal documents in collaboration with firm principals
  • Manage consultant correspondence throughout the RFP/RFQ process
  • Track the status of potential projects and maintain records of all submissions
  • Maintain and update archives of proposals, awards submissions, and all other submitted material
  • Manage, update and create firm graphics for firm portfolio in InDesign, edit pictures in Photoshop as needed
  • Assist architects with presentation creation and maintain a record of past presentations
  • Develop project narratives, design approach descriptions, update resumes and firm profile
  • Identify and research potential new business leads
  • Identify potential networking opportunities and attend industry events
  • Attend functions and new business meetings

Public Relations

  • Manage creation and distribution of announcements and firm news updates
  • Prepare awards submissions
  • Prepare advertisements


  • Coordinate with clients to schedule photography of all completed projects
  • Recommend photographers based on the project, location, and budget
  • Request proposals and negotiate fees and usage rights for photography
  • Review proofs for retouching/color correction with project managers

Web / Social Media

  • Maintain and update the firm website via content management system, including incorporating new projects, updating existing project images and information, and updating firm news
  • Develop and maintain the firm’s social media platforms and social media strategy


  • Maintain and update marketing files
  • Perform studio admin functions including formatting proposal forms, bid forms, spreadsheets related to staffing projects and bid analysis
  • Perform some executive assistant functions for firm principals

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design
  • Expert in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and all Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience working in marketing at an architectural or engineering firm desirable
