We are currently looking to fill a full-time position in our BIM/VDC department.  You will be implementing BIM technology to assist in the construction coordination process. This position will give you the chance to work on the top construction project in Los Angeles metropolitan area. Job Responsibilities

As a Revit/Rhino Technician with Perez Construction Group you will be working in a fast-paced construction environment driving exceptional quality and service for major high profile commercial projects. Specific Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing shop drawings for construction and fabrication from Revit and Rhino
  • Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks
  • Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
  • Early design review and constructability analysis
  • Manage / Update BIM Project Documents 
  • 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification

Job Qualification

As a Revit/Rhino Technician you will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking and can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines is a must, maintain same working hours as rest of the team is very important, telecommuting is not an option at the moment. The Successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.  Specific qualification includes:

  • Proficient knowledge of Revit and Rhino
  • Knowledge of Navisworks & AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures
  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
  • Completed coursework in Construction, Architecture or an equivalent combination of training, degree, and or work experience.
  • BIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction Technology
