KTGY Chicago is a collaborative group seeking a Senior Designer who is knowledgeable and passionate about urban residential design, from midrise to high-rise towers. Organization and the ability to effectively communicate design and lead a team across offices is key. Additional Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience
    • Strong Design experience in Multifamily Residential and Mixed-Use projects
    • Talented in creating design concepts, communicating and presenting design, with the ability to conceive and sketch in a charrette setting.
    • Design experience in Chicago (Preferred)
  • Bachelor of Architecture - Master’s degree preferred and/or combination of required education and experience.
  • Licensed Architect (Preferred)
  • In depth knowledge of zoning/building codes
  • Skill designing multiple projects concurrently for multiple clients in various cities and maintaining effective communication and quality control.
  • Established experience planning, scheduling, and directing work of self, team members, consultants and client.
  • Demonstrated ability working well in a team environment, leading and mentoring others.
  • Understanding and proficiency using the following software:
    • Sketchup
    • Revit
    • Photoshop
    • AutoCAD
