Our client, a solution provider for Commercial Real Estate Services is seeking a Senior Architect to add to their highly talented team.  This client of 35+ employees acts as a Design/Build, General Contractor and provides In-house Architecture, Structural Engineering, Interior Design, and Construction Project Management.  The Senior Architect designs projects from preliminary concept through finished construction drawings and should be familiar with commercial design and construction, including industrial, retail, and office buildings.  This role resides in Brookfield, WI and delivers a strong starting salary, benefit and wellness package, as well as ample bonuses and incentives. We will consider relocation candidates for this position.

The Senior Architect will:

  • Work with construction teams to understand client requirements and develop a functional, economical program to meet the requirements.
  • Develop drawings from concept sketches.
  • Utilize 3D graphics software including Sketch-up, Revit, 3D SVIZ, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Demonstrate creativity in solving architectural challenges, while preserving program objectives and requirements
  • Lead the design process, including production of construction documents and specifications required for estimating, approvals and construction.
  • Review documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Ensure client’s vision, goals, and objectives are understood by all members of the team and/or consultants. 
  • Lead client and municipal presentations to gain necessary approvals to move the project forward. 
  • Mentor and supervise staff to complete accurate construction documents.
  • Coordinate among project team to ensure a seamless architectural design process from inception to completion.


  • 5+ years working as an Architect in the construction environment (Licensed Architect status in the state of WI)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  • 2+ years utilizing Revit and/or Sketchup software.

Preferred but not required

  • Master’s Degree
