Architectural Marketing Designer

Our widely published company is headquartered in a fast-paced design office and manufacturing facility in LA. We design, develop, and manufacture a variety of façade systems, interior wall and ceiling systems, custom art installations on a full range of state of the art equipment, in our 75,000sf facility. Projects are constantly changing, quantities range from one off prototypes to short run production. You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team.

We are looking for an architectural designer to play a key role in our marketing efforts. Candidates should be capable of distilling complex ideas into easy-to-understand diagrams and technical illustrations, to be used in collateral, on the web, and in client presentations. The position will also assist in various marketing operations, including PR, email and social media campaigns, website updates, and video. Arktura takes a multidisciplinary approach in all facets of its operations, and values diverse skill sets in all its employees. Our talented team consists of architects, designers, engineers, programmers and marketing personnel with a full range of knowledge that integrates superior design solutions, advanced software scripting, leading manufacturing processes and industry-leading production equipment, all to produce exceptional, award-winning client installations. This position is a great opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of marketing operations and product development, in a dynamic design & fabrication focused setting.

Qualifications and Duties:

  • Architecturally trained (B.Arch, B.Int.Arch, M.Arch, M.Int.Arch) with proficiency in 3D software, particularly Rhino or Revit.

  • Proficiency in in Adobe suite of creative applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Strong visual communication and graphic design sense to develop diagrams, technical drawings, and layouts for collateral, with guidance from senior staff.
  • Able to quickly learn and adapt to new workflows and software platforms.

  • Candidate should be a proactive self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills, who works well in a collaborative setting.

  • Position supports marketing & sales, assisting in admin activities such as website updates, maintenance of marketing image library and photography licensing outreach.

  • Opportunities to contribute to marketing strategy, product development, and custom projects.

  • Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.

    Pluses:

  • Video production and post experience, with proficiency in tools including After Effects and Premiere

  • Experience and interest in video, social media, print, and/or web (email, search/display, etc) advertising.

    Hours/Dates/Compensation:

  • Immediate full-time availability is preferable.

  • Position will work from our Gardena, CA headquarters

  • Compensation will depend of experience.
