KEPHART is looking to expand our Design Technology team with a BIM Coordinator!  We are seeking an energetic professional with a high-level of BIM-related experience (Revit) in addition to possessing a background in architecture.  Responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator will span from assisting in project set-up to providing instruction to team members in order to elevate the firm’s technical Revit prowess.  The BIM Coordinator will be the technical liaison in the modelling process working directly with project teams to understand where processes need to be improved or where more training is required.  The BIM Coordinator will also work in tandem with the Director of Design Technology to keep KEPHART on the cutting edge of technologies that we use to create and design complex multifamily projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and promote Revit modelling standards and best practices across all project teams
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide solutions that ensure efficient production of architectural documents
  • Teach and instruct teams and individuals in a way that team members of all levels can easily understand the use of Revit as a BIM and production platform
  • Create custom Revit content as required for project teams to communicate design intent and architectural documentation through the Revit model, as well as in the VR environment
  • Audit Revit models and assist project teams to ensure an error-free Revit file
  • Find creative ways to automate processes and streamline BIM tasks
  • Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to collect and share processes, best practices, and techniques
  • Maintain Revit content (family libraries, shared parameters, templates, standards manual, etc.)


  • Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Architecture preferred
  • 4+ years of architectural production experience in design and drafting in Revit (multifamily experience preferred)

  • In-depth and technical knowledge of software – Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Revit for the purposes of streamlining the system with custom programs, shortcuts, and routines
  • Experience in Autodesk Dynamo preferred
  • Familiarity with other visualization and presentation software desirable – Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, Adobe CS, 3d Studio Max, Lumion, Enscape, VR
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for teaching and coaching project team members of all skill levels
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the capability of devising new approaches to current workflows for improved efficiency and production
