Defining relationships between architecture, culture, art, food, and branding the studio’s holistic approach engages the senses and quietly enhances form to realize an identifiable sense of place.

Projects focus on cultural, residential, commercial and hospitality and explores and integrate synergies with installation, product and brand design.

STUDIO MANAGER 

Our Studio is our home. It speaks to the culture and qualities that makes us who we are.

The Studio Manager is the Chief of Staff and Maître d ’Hotel of this home.

Studio Manager assists, upholds, guides and facilitates the daily and global mission of the Studio Brand including Project Management, Business Development, External Affairs, and collaborations with Industry Organizations, Cultural Institutions and Charitable Causes.

As an Ambassador of the Studio Manager furthers the vision of the Principal and the work of the Studio Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING

Ensure organized, timely, accurate and gracious communication with all internal and external contacts

  • Answers Telephone according to Studio Brand Standards
  • Manages General Office Email, correspondence and Thank You notes
  • Maintains and Updates Contact Database
  • Prepares and executes Packaging and Delivery of Packages, Messenger, Fed Ex and Post

Manage Studio and Principal Calendar for maximum efficiency and according to priorities

  • Daily Meeting with Principal to Set and Coordinate Intentions
  • Coordinates Calendar and Meeting Schedule for Studio and Principal
  • Assists with Travel Arrangements and Logistics
  • Assists Principal in Communications with Studio Team

Ensure that studio standard of hospitality is reflected in experience of every guest and team member

  • Prepares Studio and Greets Guests for Meetings and Special Events
  • Manages Organizing Special Events and Activations in Studio
  • Responsible for Maintaining Organization of the Studio
  • Responsible to Coordinating Maintenance of Studio
  • Responsible for executing the Pickup and Delivery of items required for Principal, Guests and Events

Keep all systems, tools, resources and data organized, clean, maintained, adequately supplied and optimally functioning

  • Responsible for Overview and Purchase of Studio Supplies
  • Assists with Material Sample Orders and Tracking
  • Assists in Organization of Materials Library
  • Responsible for Weekly and Monthly IT Support Needs
  • Inputs Time Sheet Hours for Principal and Team
  • Assists Bookkeeper in Organizing and Filing Information
  • Assists in Printing and Packaging Presentation Documents for Studio

Upholds and Develops Communications for Brand Standards, New Business, Public Relations and External Affairs

  • Assists Team with Project Presentations
  • Assists with Media Communications and Submissions
  • Responsible for maintaining the Brand Standards
  • Assists with Communications for New Projects
  • Assists with Development of Brand Standards and New Business
  • Assists with Communication with Press and Media
  • Manages Relationships with Cultural and Philanthropic Organizations and Collaborative Initiatives
  • Manages Studio Newsletter Emails
  • Updates Website Content

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working experience as manager, assistant or intern in a related environment.
  • Self-motivated and energetic with the ability to multitask and work efficiently toward deadlines
  • Desire, appreciation and ability to work in a specific, brand focused, high design, fast-paced, rigorous, and collaborative environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Currently living in New York and legally eligible to work in the United States
