(fer) studio, an award winning architect and design studio located in Inglewood, California, seeks qualified project architect candidates with a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience, which shall include, directing, coordinating and overseeing production of projects from design, construction documents, construction administration.  Primary responsibilities of the Project Architect will be to oversee assigned in-house project team coordination through their various phases; supervise/coordinate/mentor support staff; communicate and coordinate with clients and outside consultants; review/revise drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, while monitoring budgets, schedules, and the maintenance of project documentation.  Secondary duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the studio’s Principal and Project Manager with project/product research; maintenance of project files; creation of presentations; and other ad-hoc assignments.


  • Licensed Architect (preferred, but not required) or non-registered architect graduate from an accredited institution
  • Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience
  • Practical knowledge a MUST in the use of AutoCAD; Rhino; Revit; Adobe CS6
  • Working knowledge in the use of Sketchup; 3D Max
  • Should be knowledgeable and have experience with architecture sets / plans / drawings
  • Experience working with outside consultants and clients
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, supervisory and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with MS Office 2010 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient internet skills (including research)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
  • Moderate skills with office equipment (printer, scanner, copier, phones, etc.)
