Lecturer in Landscape Architecture (Ref.: 201800554)

Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the Division of Landscape Architecture of the Department of Architecture, to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis.

Candidates should have a professional degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field from a leading university.  Preferably, they should hold professional membership in a recognized professional landscape architecture institute, and maintain active engagement in the professional community.  They should also have a minimum of 5 years’ full-time teaching experience at the tertiary level, or equivalent professional work experience.  Preference will be given to those with demonstrated innovative teaching skills, and with expertise in landscape design, landscape representation and fabrication.  We are keen to appoint a candidate that can enhance the Division’s focus on urban and infrastructural landscapes within Southeast Asia.

A globally competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as leave, and medical benefits.
