LMN Architects is currently seeking a Communications + Media Strategist to join our team. Operating within a multidisciplinary, collaborative team environment, this individual will manage the communications and media relations efforts of our 150-person design firm with a focus on elevating LMN’s global visibility. Working closely with the Director of Business Development, the Communications + Media Strategist will regularly interact with firm leadership, as well as our external PR consultant. Responsibilities include:

  • Storytelling: developing content that creatively communicates stories and ideas
  • Media outreach and coordination
  • Curation of LMN's website
  • Oversight and coordination of social media platforms
  • Oversight and coordination of award submittals and speaking engagements
  • Internal communications and staff engagement

The ideal candidate will have the ability to tell a story through concise, compelling narrative. Superior writing and editing, combined with strong design and visual communication skills, are just what we are seeking.   • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Enthusiastic with a knack for engaging people both internally and externally
  • Confident, detail-oriented and proactive, with ability to take ownership, organize work tasks and manage multiple deadline-driven efforts
  • Fast, efficient and flexible with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Relationships with design and other media are a plus
  • Experience within the AEC or other design related industry are a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • BA/BS degree in communications, journalism or design related field preferred
