We are currently hiring a Healthcare Architect for our Seattle office.

Successful candidates will have a degree from an NCAARB accredited university, a minimum of five years professional experience and possess:

• unique skills which demonstrate an interest and passion for architectural design in healthcare

• desire to use design skills to improve health outcomes

• excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams

• demonstrated experience in medical planning and programming

• ability to successfully coordinate building systems with engineers and specialty consultants

• ability to think creatively and solve complex problems

• exceptional client management and communication skills

• ability to prioritize and concurrently address multiple tasks from concept to completion

• technical proficiency, knowledge of construction detailing and specifications

• knowledge of building systems, codes and accessibility requirements including the FGI and NFPA standards

• ability to research and select appropriate materials and building finish products suitable to project requirements

• experience in project planning, programming and conceptual design

• experience coordinating medical equipment and owner FF&E requirements

• interest in developing research around the impacts of the built environment on health

• familiarity with WELL Building Standard and EDAC Certification preferred

• Revit and Adobe CS experience preferred
