Responsible for all aspects of Development, Architecture and Design Management Coordination for Hotels, Resorts and Spas:  Support Technical Services team members in all aspects of the design and construction process from conceptual development through final construction on a timely basis; coordinate action list for pending design issues; coordinate all aspects of design and construction operations with internal teams, including design, operations, brand, marketing, human resources and legal; manage day-to-day office requirements.


Manage assigned TS projects including:

  • Working collaboratively with SS Americas’ Team Members to assist in the management of Development, Design, Construction and Hand-over phases of all Six Senses projects.
  • Developing and maintaining communication with all project participants including updates to project directories and organizational charts. 
  • Working collaboratively with Six Senses Executives and team members to clearly communicate the essence and track projects through the design, construction and pre-opening phases. 
  • Maintaining and updating Six Senses Consultant lists.
  • Circulating, compiling, and comparing all RFPs for Consultant engagement.
  • Interfacing with Owners, Consultants, and Vendors to gather data, organize documents, communicate design requirements and standards, and coordinating distribution of Design Briefs.
  • Assisting in the writing and updating and of all new Six Senses Design Standards and Briefs.
  • Preparing organizational charts for each new project. 
  • Maintaining all relevant project information (on-line and in file formats to be agreed).
  • Maintaining a critical path for all projects. 
  • Establishing, monitoring, and maintaining all projects’ FTP, Inntempo, and/or Sharefile sites.


Location of Operation: Work from Home (Mexico).
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday flexible office hours. Early morning and evening conference calls may be required.

  • Education in Design Management &/or Architecture (preferred), Engineering, or Building Science/Construction
  • Fluency in English (essential)
  • English and Spanish. Additional languages helpful


Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a track record of success in the following:

  • Coordinating and managing Design & Construction process
  • Managing and providing Design Services for an Architect, Interior Design or hotel management company, with global projects 


  • Expertise in supporting and managing all phases of the planning, design, construction and delivery of multiple projects, simultaneously, on behalf of a hotel operator, ensuring process, schedules and guidelines are met
  • Excellent professional communication and presentation skills (with ability to express graphically and verbally)
  • Knowledge of development, design, planning, programming, construction, FF&E and hotel operations
