We are seeking an Associate Principal for our Multi-Family Residential Studio who will be responsible for leading and engaging with clients and teams in delivering services to creatively solve problems on multiple projects simultaneously. Must have experience with high-rise multi-family construction, experience in concrete and/or steel.

The Associate Principal, Multi-Family will be responsible but not limited to:

  • Handle technical and financial performance of assigned project;
  • Ensure high quality of design through SD, CD and CA phases
  • Establish work plan, budget and schedule
  • Participate in building long-term client relationship and marketing efforts to maintain and grow client base;
  • Manage and oversee code compliance, control costs, perform QA review and assist in contract negotiation;
  • Direct, organize and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight; and
  • Benefit from an incentive bonus plan

To be a Lessard team member, Associate Principal /Multi-Family should have:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited program8 – 10 years minimum of experience* in base building architecture with:
  • Experience with developer based MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL architecture**
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proficiency in Managing teams working in AutoCad and Revit
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated and self-directed personality who is looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity
  • Registered Architect – NCARB preferred
