Prestigious architectural firm located in downtown Manhattan seeks an Assistant Controller for their Accounting Department.  Only applicants with 2-7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting will be considered.  CPA is preferred but not required.

Accounting, Finance and Treasury:

  • Collect, interpret and present financial data to the Controller
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Develop and track systems and financial metrics.
  • Provide timely reports that track financial metrics against established goals and budget
  • Manage deliverables for Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Invoicing.
  • Proficient in Deltek Vision and other related financial software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA and experience in Public Accounting preferred
  • Income Tax planning and compliance (Federal, State and Local income and business taxes)
  • Preparation of work papers for Independent Auditor’s annual review.
  • Executing banking transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain the books and records of foreign and domestic subsidiaries.
  • Oversee and work with the third party administrator managing the company 401K plan.
  • Special projects and ad-hoc reports as needed
