VCA is seeking applicants for a full-time Intermediate Designer position to work on a range of project types including commercial, retail and residential. Candidates should have strong design and graphic skills and demonstrate proficiency in project development and documentation. Candidates should also be resourceful and comfortable in a small but growing, fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities will include project documentation in AUTOCAD or Revit, design studies in digital and physical models, and presentations and design representation.


·        3-5 years of verifiable professional experience in an architecture firm is required.

·        BArch or Master’s Degree in Architecture

·        Proficiency in AUTOCAD, Revit, Rhino, Vray, Adobe Software

·        Candidates must demonstrate proficiency and ability to work with a lead Designer/Architect to complete conceptual design, design presentation, construction documentation and construction administration.

·        Excellent rendering and image-making abilities, as well as model making skills

·        Desire to be involved in all aspects of a project, from conception to implementation

·        Self-reliant and resourceful

·        Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a small office environment

·        Ability to meet deadlines, complete tasks accurately and with strong attention to detail.

·        Strong graphic, organization and communication skills are essential. Fluency in English is required.

·        Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisor

·        Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or have permanent residence status
