We are a residential and commercial design build firm located in Los Angeles and are looking for a full time Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate must be energetic, unflappable, and someone who thrives on organization, clarity, and efficiency.  Attention to detail should be your personal goal in order to thrive in this position.

The SPM must have diverse experience including architectural practice, construction and general contracting, fabrication, and critical path management. The SPM is expected to act in a highly proactive and independently motivated manner and to utilize advanced techniques and tools for organizing and motivating productivity.

Supervisory duties of the SPM focus on overall project performance in the realms of budget and schedule. The SPM will be included in the formation of commitments, established objectives, and critical project decision drivers to enable him/her to manage internal and external team members.  The SPM will work closely with the company's leaders and with individual project managers to ensure project goals are understood and carried out effectively.

The SPM should have the following characteristics to effectively perform this role;

  • Calm but determined;
  • Able to effectively lead the team to results;
  • Adapt to frequently changing goals based on client requests or project conditions;
  • Liason between leaders and the team;
  • Capable of interpreting the goals for the team and keeping the work on track;
  • Education or previous work experience in project management, construction management, architecture, real estate or other related fields;
  • Software skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Scheduling software, Revit knowledge, Adobe Creative Suite
