Job Description: Seeking a project architect/ manager well experienced and knowledgeable in affordable multi-family housing in the City and County of Los Angeles. Candidate to be proactive and lead the project while working independently and as well as being able to lead a team of 1-4 associates. Candidate to be willing and capable to review and redline drawings, orchestrate a set of contract documents inclusive of consultant coordination and detailing on projects ranging from 50 to 500 units.

Job Requirements: 

  • Candidate to be detail oriented and able to maintain project design integrity from concept to occupancy

  • Candidate to possess strong management habits and skills

  • Candidate to be proficient in Revit
  • Candidate to be familiar with local building departments and codes (City of Los Angeles)

  • Candidate to be familiar with CTCAC, LACDC, LAHCID funding requirements and application processes

  • Candidate to be responsible for day-to-day control and management of 1–2 projects in the documentation phase and/ or 1 - 2 projects in construction inclusive of drawing, schedule and staff management.
  • Candidate to have a minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural practice

  • Candidate to be able to coordinate teams of consultants

  • Candidate should have excellent communication skills, including the ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions and interact effectively to maintain a team environment

  • Candidate to be capable of enhancing client relations and office reputation

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

  • Candidate to be currently legal to work within the United States

  • Immediate availability

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and skill, position is full-time with benefits (health insurance 100% paid, dental and vision contributed, 401K matching and profit sharing).
