Cooper Carry is looking for a Marketing Assistant who seeks opportunities for career growth and who is enthusiastic about marketing for a creative professional services firm.

The Marketing Assistant works closely members of the marketing team to support the office's marketing and business development efforts including but not limited to the development of proposals and digital communications.

The ideal candidate is proactive and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. We are looking for a creative individual who has the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a close attention to detail.

DUTIES

The Marketing Assistant will perform the following duties and others as needed:

  • Works closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Manager to support the coordination and production of RFP and RFQ responses.  
  • Participates in the coordination and design of presentations for client interviews, speaking opportunities, and other opportunities.
  • Updates the website and creates electronic marketing materials, e.g., e-blasts, e-newsletter. 
  • Maintains and updates file systems and marketing collateral including resumes and project information sheets.
  • Manages the submission of projects for industry awards and recognition.
  • Coordinates and schedules internal meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
  • Provides database support: enters project information, tracks leads, etc.
  • Creates digital and printed promotional material such as brochures, flyers, digital presentations, reports and other printed matter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years' work experience and/or relevant education
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and "can-do" attitude
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or other graphic design software preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, journalism, communications, or a related field
