Take your career to the next level and join CORE architecture + design, a multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design firm whose projects include a wide range of building types from mixed-use developments, public buildings, large-scale offices and residential developments, to chef-driven restaurants and hospitality projects. 

CORE is seeking a Project Architect to join our team of design explorers and doers who specialize in helping to create experiences by guiding our clients through a thoughtful and intentional design process. You will be experienced in directing the project process, with excellent presentation and relationship building skills, and the ability to understand and interpret client needs and requirements.

The successful applicant will have advanced knowledge of the end-to-end design process and demonstrate superior design and technical skills, having worked on a variety of projects.

A self-motivated team player with a positive, communicative and collaborative approach, the Project Architect will work in partnership with colleagues across CORE’s diverse practice areas, as well as with vendors, consultants and stakeholders at all levels. You will have the knowledge and ability to provide guidance to less experienced members of the design team, advising and supporting where necessary.


  • Providing exemplar project development and leadership from concept to completion of design projects, working across all the design stages
  • Managing the design team, consultant, and contractor communications, developing and maintaining strong external and internal relationships
  • Involvement with all phases of the design and construction process, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction document, specification and construction processes
  • Creation and review of all project drawings and specifications 
  • Professional development of junior staff
  • Help to produce high quality graphic presentations


  • Demonstrable experience of design and technical components
  • A good working knowledge of BIM software, as well as strong free-hand sketching skills
  • Exemplary presentation and client relations skills
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from accredited school
  • Professional License
  • Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
  • Amazing collaboration skills, proactive and highly organized are essential with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • A good understanding of FF&E, color and material specification and development
