NAC Architecture is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to manage the Marketing function and oversee strategy and execution of the firm’s marketing plan.  NAC has office locations in Spokane and Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA and we are experiencing growth in all offices as well as internationally.  The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in an A/E firm, possess excellent communication skills and the ability to accomplish much in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.   

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the following areas or possess the following skills:

  • Ability to research new clients and opportunities in our key markets (student housing, medical sector, recreational sector and higher education.)
  • Define strategies with key teams to develop creative ideas for attainment of goals.
  • Develop a creative and invigorating marketing strategy for the social media platform.
  • Develop a detailed marketing plan based on the firm’s mission and 2020 vision.
  • Work with market sector leaders to create annual marketing budgets and implementation plans by market sector and report back on annual marketing expenditures.
  • Supervise the ongoing development of branded collateral to ensure brand consistency in all external and internal communications of, and presentations by, the firm.
  • Oversee marketing managers in each location and provide guidance, support as needed.
  • Support the Managing Principal of each office to coordinate marketing efforts specific to each office and in support of the firm’s over-arching, firm-wide marketing plan.
  • Provide marketing and presentation coaching to all staff involved in business development.
  • Formulate, coordinate and oversee implementation of a comprehensive ongoing public relations plan.
  • Manage and perform market research on new markets and potential of existing markets in new locations.

 Minimum requirements include a degree in Marketing and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar marketing position for an A&E firm.  The candidate should have excellent writing skills and graphic judgment and be capable of authoring and editing materials.  The candidate will need to have demonstrated ability to manage staff and vendors such as graphic designers, and coordinate the efforts of teams in multiple office locations.  The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the appropriate blend of leadership, tactfulness, creativity and persuasion to be successful in a collaborative environment.
