Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setup initial Revit model with site and context according to SOM’s BIM standards and guidelines;
  • Setup Worksets, Sheet Views;
  • Coordinate external model Links;
  • Setup and manage Schedules and Drawing Index;
  • Manage external model sharing;
  • Print, Process and Coordinate files received from internal / external sources;
  • Prepare documents for issuances.

Desired skills and expertise:

  • Minimum of three years experience in design development, architectural design, documentation, and detailing on a wide variety of projects;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of architectural design, documentation, and detailing, including setup and management of Revit model;
  • Initializes and maintains the quality and content of both presentation and construction documents through the management and enforcement of SOM CAD and BIM standards, project data organization and plotting management;
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital tools and managing project extranets, specifically Newforma;
  • Educate and mentor team members as necessary and appropriate.
