Delawie, a leading sustainable and high-performance architecture and interior design firm founded in 1961, is currently seeking a creative and motivated BIM and Technology in Practice Project Manager in their San Diego office, minutes from downtown and Mission Bay Park.

The firm’s principals lead and mentor over 50 design professionals. Delawie promotes a culture of collaboration and creativity, where team members at every level are empowered to contribute. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate should be able to communicate well with consultants, clients and other business associates as well as in-house team members. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.


  • Proficiency with BIM technologies and Revit required.
  • 4-8 years of experience completing design and construction documents for hospitality, commercial, educational, medical and/or corporate projects in an architectural or construction firm.
  • SketchUp modeling, MS Office and preparation of presentation materials is desirable.
  • Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
  • Architectural Degree recommended


  • Provide BIM and Technology management (with a focus on Revit) for the firm’s design projects
  • Assist teams with project startup, workflow and coordination strategies.
  • Investigate new BIM technology for adoption and implementation
  • Investigate related technologies that would benefit the firm in areas such as production, client presentations, office project management and project acquisition.
  • Review all office projects to ensure that office-wide Revit documentation administration, especially naming conventions, office standards, and work sets composition are being followed and that warnings and clashes are being resolved.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot issues and perform the necessary research and exploration to develop BIM solutions that respond to the specific demands of a project
  • Overall Revit file management, project file backup and model maintenance
