The Interiors’ Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision of projects assigned to him/her to assure that the project conforms to the contractual agreement the firm has made to the client, and that the project is completed within the allocated period of time and within the budget that has been assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex projects; responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administration and technical, to ensure effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Prepare strategic plans for project success.
  • Responsible for keeping project on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks, and project team assignments.
  • Estimate fees, determine scope of work and assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
  • Provide oversight of work of less experienced project managers.
  • Organize and direct the architectural team to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with and leading a diverse team of consultants and internal staff.
  • Excellent technical and design skills.
  • Excellent understanding of all appropriate codes.
  • Ability to develop and deliver technically sound project documents.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • The willingness to work as a team member and assist other studios as necessary; the ability and desire to mentor young design professionals.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Construction Administration software (Newforma preferred).
  • BS Architecture with a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience.
  • Registered Architect Required.
  • LEED Accreditation Preferred.
