Urban Designer: 5-7 years of experience

About The Role

The primary function of the Urban Designer is to support the project team in the completion of one or more projects in accordance with established goals and scope of that project(s). Collaborates with all team members in an effective and efficient manner and works under direction of and in collaboration with key project team members (Principal-in-Charge, Project Manager, project Designer, etc.).

What You Have (Requirements)

  • 5 or more years of professional experience, with 1 year minimum relevant US work experience
  • Working towards or holds an Architecture License
  • Degree from an accredited University in the United States
  • Demonstrated ability to
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • LEED accreditation (BD+C or ND)
  • Experience with Revit, SketchUp and Deltek Vision
  • Experience in our core markets
  • Ability to mentor less experienced staff
  • Proven history of excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Windows OS
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare materials and production of products for presentations that communicate design process and concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and manage production of deliverables
  • Technical understanding of buildings and how buildings come together to form a community
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality work
