Description:                       

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate team member with strong individual design and problem solving skills for immediate opportunities as an Architectural Designer in our 30-person Boston office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a dynamic office setting, contributing to all phases of planning, design and construction administration.
  • Collaborate in the development of designs using hand sketching, building information modeling, and other software.
  • Contribute to the preparation of construction drawings for high quality construction bid documents.
  • Review building codes and standards to evaluate design compliance with legal and industry requirements.
  • Review construction submittals and a log project data.
  • Advance high performance aspects of design and systems coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience required (academic experience a plus, not required)
  • Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
  • Experience and interest in high performance architectural design.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Environmental analysis design software is a plus.
  • LEED Accreditation.  Well and PassivHaus certification a plus.
  • Architectural registration or active involvement in becoming registered.
