The Center for Active Design (CfAD) is currently seeking a professional with excellent communication and project management skills to support and manage external clients and practitioners seeking Fitwel certification or training. The Associate will be tasked with communicating effectively with clients, other professionals, and subject matter experts to provide support and technical assistance, as well as garner input, feedback, and expertise on Fitwel from the industry. The Associate will assist in growing Fitwel’s Ambassador training program as well as managing Fitwel’s advisory councils.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of client relationships, including responding to client inquiries and providing technical assistance as necessary
  • Support the efficient execution of projects by tracking, generating and delivering to senior staff reports on project status, accomplishments and challenges, and related metrics
  • Collaborate with Fitwel staff to develop and deliver engaging, high-quality and solution-oriented meeting agendas and informational documents to the Fitwel advisory councils
  • Responsible for Fitwel advisory council operations, including rosters, scheduling, elections, recruitment, training, and term limits.
  • Support the development of the Ambassador training program, including managing the training and any updates necessary, producing supportive collateral and strategizing on informational events for the Ambassador community
  • Collaborate with internal Fitwel staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest feedback from the industry, Ambassadors, councils, and advisory board
  • Perform administrative duties for Fitwel as necessary
  • Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • Passion and dedication to CfAD’s mission
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required, preferably in architecture, planning, engineering, building operations, or environmental science
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated good judgment, critical thinking, flexibility, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment
