POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for the application of the brand standards to all new and remodel store environments to ensure global design consistency across assigned regions. Manage the production of store layouts, distribution, quality assurance and change management of all stores, based on the approved concept documents. Special involvement in flagship and high-profile store projects. Develop and manage junior store planner(s).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the creation of all new store and remodel layouts that conform to all approved brand standards, pre-determined operational and merchant needs,and landlord criteria. Ensure delivery of complete design packs and/or supplemental information as required on/or before schedule.

Manage expectations of internal business partners through excellent
communication and published deliverable dates. Manage internal
corporate approvals, revisions, and new requests through on going
strategic relationships with key personnel. Schedule and participate in
schematic reviews with Operations, Merchants, and Regional Executive
teams as needed. Present store design programs, initiatives, and tools
in a manner that creates real understanding and enthusiasm for the role
store design plays in financial objectives.

Partner with Design and Construction teams to update core standards with most current information as needed. Identify exceptions, purposeful design solutions and resolve issues in collaboration with peers. Manage internal and  external assets to meet roll-out objectives.

Assist Director of Store Design, and act as project leader, for all special projects. Special projects include flagships, new technology roll outs, company initiatives and global analysis projects.

Develops internal staff through training and mentoring. Directly manage the junior planners' workload, priorities, deliverables, annual goals and daily assignments. Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve associate, business and customer results.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 4-6 Years
