Brick Architecture and Interiors, an innovative Emeryville design firm working on mixed-use, multi-family housing, commercial office and institution projects, is looking for an Office Administrator to support all aspects of our growing office. The position requires an independent worker, with an ability to take on any task thrown their way. Candidate must be proactive and highly motivated.

Duties Include –

Contract Administration:

Draft contracts/subcontracts from templates

Insurance certificate administration

Monitor contracts email

Coordinate all contractual obligations

Executive Assistant:

Ownership of principal calendars and coordination of schedules

Communications with clients and subcontractors

Travel arrangements

Office Administration:

Point of contact with IT contractor

Culture enhancer, i.e. plan parties, acknowledge work anniversaries, etc.

Setup meetings

Manage vendors and supply ordering

Keep office organized and clean

Skills Needed –

Highly proficient in MSOffice, especially Word and Excel

Proficiency with Google Suite

Comfortable with PC environment

Ability to communication in a highly professional manner, both verbally and in writing

Ability to see a problem and fix it with little supervision



Past experience in an architecture firm a plus

Minimum of 30 hours a week.
