The Construction Manager will manage one or more construction projects as part of a team implementing a bond construction program. He or she will interface directly with the client’s staff, architects, contractors, jurisdictional agencies, and other entities; perform design and constructability reviews; assist with contractual negotiations; and coordinate all other work necessary to successfully complete projects, including value engineering, construction management, and project closeout.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 2-8 years of experience in an Architectural Office with strong emphasis in Construction Administration or Construction Management of multiple construction projects.
  • Experience with large Capital Improvement Programs and familiarity with relevant Public Codes.
  • BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a closely related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle including master planning, design and closeout
  • Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS).
  • Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes.
