Corgan is actively recruiting experienced, registered Project Architect to join the firm in our Houston office location as part of our Education market sector.  The firm is currently working on innovative and challenging projects throughout the U.S. and is pursuing new opportunities overseas. Dynamic individual will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual working with leadership to ensure client satisfaction and the ability to function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
  • Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables
  • Manage contract administration responsibilities
  • Coordinate with a variety of consultants
  • Provide leadership to staff
  • Manage client relations


Qualified candidates should exhibit strong and effective organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to present confidently. Must have high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.  The ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential.  Candidates should also exhibit strong master planning skills and be able to collaborate on a diverse project team. Individual must have strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and should exhibit strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities.  Candidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations. Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required. 

 

Current architectural registration, or anticipation of registration, required along with a professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture and 7+ years of experience.   AutoCAD and Revit proficiency strongly desired.  Candidate should have a renovation-oriented and technical background as well as building construction knowledge.
