Corgan seeks an exceptional Interior Design Studio Director to join the firm in our New York office location. This dynamic individual will continue to build the firm’s Workplace Interiors practice by providing leadership and management to our existing interiors group of ten while growing and mentoring our talented team. Additionally, this successful candidate will collaborate and strategize with our Business Development Director and other leadership on project pursuits in order to maintain existing client relationships and establish new business. Candidate will also be committed to design excellence and ingenuity, as well as outstanding service to existing and new clients. Dynamic individual will grow and develop designs based on global design trends and client objectives and provide high level guidance and leadership throughout all project phases.

 

Ideal candidate must have strong leadership and project management skills, demonstrated business development success and confident presentation skills. Candidate should have experience with regular and successful interaction with a variety of clients and possess a flexible attitude and the ability to collaborate and encourage collaboration in a team environment. Candidate must also demonstrate strong organizational, time management and communication skills. Great opportunity for a highly motivated and well-rounded designer seeking responsibility with challenging projects in a creative work environment and the opportunity to lead a growing and talented team. A professional, NAAB accredited degree in architecture or CIDA accredited degree in Interior Design and professional registration required, along with 15+ years of experience in Interior Design of high end workplace, retail and/or hospitality. Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD and other graphics-related programs desired. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs and LEED accreditation strongly preferred.
