CHARLES PAUL GOEBEL, ARCHITECT, LTD is an established, highly respected and award-winning architecture & land-planning firm based in historic Easton – on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.  Areas of focus are high-end waterfront residential (exclusively custom), historic preservation/adaptive reuse and a mix of office and retail projects.

We offer a collegial work environment for a driven self-starter to take on as much responsibility as their skill set allows, in a small firm environment, with learning opportunities over a broad variety of project types.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage in all phases from schematic design through construction in direct collaboration with the firm principal (M.Arch Harvard GSD; AICP certified land-planner; LEED-accredited professional).

The right person for our studio has a balanced skill set that includes critical and creative thinking with exceptional attention to detail.  He/she must be efficient and adaptable to challenging deadlines. We seek a self-motivated candidate with a strong desire for expanding responsibilities and an eagerness to learn and advance both technically and professionally.

Candidates for the Intern Architect position must meet the following criteria:

  • Masters degree in Architecture (or 4th year graduate student seeking (minimum) semester-long professional internship.
  • Proven and exceptional academic performance
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Rhino
  • Strong 3D computer visualization/presentation skills
  • Passion for historic preservation and traditional/classical architecture
  • Strong interest in sustainability and new building technologies
  • Experience working in a professional architecture firm a plus
