Our New York office (Flatiron District) has a position available for a Client Relations Manager, who will assist our Client Relations Director in the development and implementation of the firm’s Business Development strategy for the NY region, sourcing new contacts, maintaining existing contacts, and generating opportunities in the NY & NJ marketplace.  Ideal background would be in Architecture, Interior Design or Construction Sales and Business Development

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining leads/relationships in business, real estate, construction, and design communities through cold calling, research & networking with related industry connections.
  • Attending industry networking events and actively participating in related select organizations. 
  • Providing research on new client opportunities and establish client capture strategies.
  • Preparing competitor analysis and tracking
  • Staying on top of industry trends with continuous market analysis
  • Preparing verbal and written communications, detailed reports and presentations.
  • Participating in the development of proposal and presentation strategies for selected opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Experience and contacts already established within the Built Environment and Construction Industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills  
  • Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product and sector development.
  • Articulate with an understanding of the architectural/design industry
  • Must be adept in use of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet) and InDesign (basic level).
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision software required.
  • Understanding of profit and loss calculations and basic business finance,
  • Experienced writer of PQQ’s, RFP’s, business letters, quotations and proposals.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
