Job Title: Junior Designer

Job Overview:

This position provides design opportunities as a part of a project team for commercial interiors and tenant improvement projects.


  • Verify existing interior space prior to design development, including code compliance
  • Select finishes and furniture
  • Control project costs by designing to budget parameters
  • Prepare project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Create 3D models and color rendering by hand and electronically
  • Prepare client presentations including presentation boards
  • Assist project managers in various construction administration tasks
  • Other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interior and architectural design skills
  • Hand sketching, conceptual drawing
  • Computer savvy with strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS-Office. SketchUp, Photoshop, and other 3D modeling skills are highly desired
  • Working knowledge of state and local Building Codes, including accessibility
  • Ability to produce Construction Documents
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in teams

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or higher
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working on interior design and/or architectural projects
