Diller Scofidio + Renfro "DS+R" is seeking an ambitious leader to join our marketing team as Marketing Manager. Working alongside a dedicated team of public relations and business development specialists, the Marketing Manager will develop and implement methods for acquiring new projects through RFQs, RFPs, and direct commissions. The scope of this role spans the proposal development process: market research, risk analysis, schedule and content management, sub consultant team assembly, writing and copy editing, document quality control, and presentation preparation. The Marketing Manager will craft tailored responses to engage the interest of potential public and private clients across a spectrum of typologies (with a focus on civic-minded cultural, institutional, and  and public space projects) in markets around the world. The Marketing Manager will prepare regular status updates, while tracking and populating internal databases of DS+R’s completed submission and ongoing opportunities. The position reports to the Director of Strategy and works directly with the firm’s partners and principals.

Applicants should have 5+ years of experience in similar roles within architecture, deep familiarity and leadership with the proposal process, and display prior management of a marketing group. Strong writing skills, a predilection for fast-pace processes, a keen attention to details, and a demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently are essential. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required. An architectural degree is preferred.
