Leroy Street Studio Architecture has an immediate opening for an Office Manager. We are a friendly and close-knit group of 50+ designers that require the support of a calm and proactive professional to ensure the smooth running of our dynamic studio. This position affords opportunities to manage a small admin staff, to grow with the organization, and to become involved in all aspects of the studio. 

Duties include:

  • Managing front desk reception and office upkeep including: answering phones, ordering supplies, and maintaining office function and appearance.
  • Managing office communications including incoming general office email.
  • Overseeing the onboarding of new employees.
  • Updating and maintaining internal databases, subscriptions, and licenses.
  • Planning and coordinating travel (including local) for architectural staff.
  • Providing general PA support for three partners.
  • Overseeing the planning of company events and outings.
  • Ensuring that client meetings and client care are always top priority.    
  • Overseeing the use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, and phones. Initiating service calls when required.
  • Managing conference room schedules and resolving scheduling conflicts with staff.
  • Providing general HR support.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and promoting our work culture.


  • Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Familiarity with common office software
  • B.A. or B.S. and minimum of 2+ years office management experience, preferably in a design environment and in a large office.
  • Interest in architecture and design a plus

This is not an architectural design position.

Position to start immediately. Salary commensurate with experience.
