Glavé & Holmes Architecture is seeking to fill an Architect/Planner position for our Higher Education Studio with 5 to 10 years of experience.  We are only interested in those individuals who can perform the role described below and with the credentials listed.

The position will include Project Architect responsibilities, such as leading the design and delivery of a project; directing project team members’ work; and coordinating with consultants and managing many areas of project delivery, from conceptual design through construction. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with campus planning experience relating to programming studies, planning studies and master planning.  This individual will be responsible for providing technical and design leadership in these planning efforts; performing work involving investigations, surveys, concept designs and reports; preparing clear and accurate documents; facilitating project planning meetings; and collaborating with project team members to manage the overall project delivery.

The desirable credentials and abilities include:

  • Experience in architecture and campus planning. Degree in architecture and/or planning from an accredited school.

  • Experience with complex project programs and project sizes above $10M construction cost in both the public and private sectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to create a set of planning documents/reports with proficient abilities in graphic design and writing

  • Expertise with Revit and AutoCAD platforms as well as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

  • Interest in contextual design, passion for design excellence and a collaborative spirit.
